High-performance solution

When your business needs are vital and you can not experience service interruption, we offer an option called 1+1 Protection. With such option, you can benefit from our highly meshed network and rely on two different paths to connect your two sites. When the main path is cut due to an incident, your traffic can automatically and almost instantly (~50ms failover) be redirected on the back-up path. This option comes with higher availability rate SLA to provide high commitment to our customers. New protection schemes will be announced soon.

Dan Pitts
Senior Manager for Network Planning at Intelsat

We contracted with Orange for a 10 Gb International Private Line to interconnect Europe and Asia. This helps Intelsat’s traffic flow more efficiently between these two locations and contributes to a more efficient global network. Moreover, on the route from Frankfurt to Singapore, Orange had the most cost effective solution.
